Rebels move to WOAA Championships
After a big win Sunday in Keady, the Great Lakes Frame Company Township of Chatsworth Atom Rep Rebels are waiting to find out who they will face off against in the WOAA Championship.

A win against the Ripley Wolves clinched a spot in the finals for the Rebels.  It was a close round with the fate of 3 teams resting on this one game.

A win for either team would secure them a spot in the finals, but a tie would allow the Lucknow Sepoys to slip past both and enter the finals.  The Wolves drew first blood partway through the second period with a goal by Luke Richardson to wild cheers from the Ripley fans.  Less than 2 minutes later the strong power play line sent out for the Rebels capitalized, with a goal by Hunter Schultz, assisted by Josh Currie, to tie the game.  Early in the third, Currie scored another power play goal to give the Rebels the lead.  The Rebels then had to fight off a series of Ripley power plays as the Rebels couldn’t seem to stay out of the penalty box.  With great forechecking, strong defensive plays and some great saves by Rebels goalie Robbie Hann, the Rebels finished strong and will be heading to the WOAA final round with their eye on the championship cup.

Great team effort Rebels!!!
