The TCDMHA "Horton's Concrete Finishing" Novice Rep Rebels won game one in a
best of 3 series in Keady on Saturday 4 to 0 against the Brussels Bulls.
The Rebels goals were scored by Austin McComb, Clayton Johnson, Wyatt Golem and Hunter Schultz. Assists to Johnson, McComb, Josh Currie, Austin Waite(2) and Aaron McConnell. Jason Rudolph-MacLeod recorded the shut out.
It was a tight game against Brussels. The Rebels scored their first goal in the third period with 6:50 remaining and never looked back. Outstanding goaltending by the Bulls goalie Cole Zwep.
Game 2 is set for Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in Brussels.
