The Lightning came out first scoring the first goal of the game in the second period but the Rebels Mogan Williamson assisted by Rachel Aitcheson and Callan Yost rebounded within 2 mins to tie it up evenly. Then again with three mins left in the second Erica Vokes launches one past the goalie assisted by Haleigh Weppler and Morgan Williamson. The Rebel girls still weren’t finished and with a minute left in the second period Rachel Aitcheson fires one past assisted by Morgan Williamson and Callan Yost.
The Lightning rebounded in the 3rd period with two mins left. The Lightning pulled their goalie with a 1:28 remaining but couldn’t get past our goalie Jessica McGregor who played an awesome game.
