TCDMHA Desboro Garage Peewee LL W.O.A.A. North Division Champions!!!!!
Jeremy Skippen Scored the Game Winning goal as the TCDMHA Desboro Garage Peewee LL Rebels downed the Bruce Penninsula Wild 6-3 to clinch the North Division Championship!!!!!
There was no scoring until late in the first period and it wasn't in the Rebels favor as the Bruce Penninsula Wild scored the opening goal by Kapiel McDonald, and shortly after the Wild's Hunter Nevin put one past our netminder giving them a 2 goal lead........But the Rebels persevered and with 2:19 left in the first, the Rebels Sam Hicks (Evan Longland) put 1 in to close the gap.
Into the second period we went and within 2 minutes of the second, the Rebels Kyle Fry (Jeremy Skippen) tied up the game... But the Wild answered back with a goal by Simon Smith.. keeping the Lead.... The Rebels weren't giving up with out a fight....and with with 4 minutes left in the second the Rebels Will Kavanaugh(Clayton Wathke, Skippen) tied up the Game.
Into the 3rd period we went and it was looking to be a tie game, then with 6 minutes left , the Rebels Jeremy Skippen (Evan Longland, Hicks)Scored the Go Ahead goal!!!! Then it was the Rebels all the way....a minute later Josh Blair (Longland) put one in and then with a minute left Will Kavanaugh (Wathke,Blair) closed the door on The Wild!!!!!
