Ivan Romanowich Scores Game Winning Goal!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Barry's Construction" Pewee Boys LL played their third playoff game on Saturday, February 17th, 2018.  This game saw the Rebels face off against the Owen Sound Jr Attack #2 at the Keady Arena.  Javier Koeslag was in net for the Rebels and he was ready to play for the win!!  Javier made a lot of big saves during this game and was tested a bit more than usual, when the Rebels were short-handed.

Owen Sound got off to a quick start and scored the first goal of the game at 9:37 in period one.  The Rebels answered back with two goals of their own in period one.  The first goal was scored by Aiden Callahan-Cummins at 6:41 and was assisted by Andersen McComb.  Then Andersen McComb scored during the same shift, at 5:56, assisted by Sam Potter and Aiden Callahan-Cummins.

Owen Sound would score the only goal of period two, at 13:41.  The Rebels were often short-handed during this period but they pulled together as a team to keep the game tied at 2 - 2.

The third period was the make or break period.  At 10:39 Ivan Romanowich scored the winning goal, assisted by Ethen Blakey.  At 5:45 Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored the insurance goal, assisted by Robert LaFond.  Owen Sound was unable to get any momentum during this period due to the back checking and the defensive manoeuvres of the Rebels squad.

Final Score:   Rebels   4,      Jr Attack #2     2

Congratulations Rebels!!
