Rebels and Lakers Lock Horns in Epic Battle!!

The TCDMHA Ed McNabb Roofing Novice LL#1 Rebels faced off with the Shallow Lake Novice LL#2 Lakers in WOAA Novice North playoff action. After an unbelievable 6 periods of play, the game ended in a 4-4 draw.
With Shallow Lake leading 4-2 with less than three minutes to play, Chris Hardman scored two goals, including one goal with one second remaining on the clock to knot the game at 4-4. Both determined teams then played three more periods of overtime. Both teams had chances to end the affair but both Rebels goalie Pearce Lacey and Lakers goalie Ben Redmond stood on their heads and made several spectacular saves!!
Also scoring for the Rebels were Nick Garrett with a goal and an assist, Dalan Frook with a goal. Curtis Wade, Hunter Courtney, Jack Murray and Austin King added assists.
Cole Dieter scored twice for the Lakers while Quintin Cardinal and Darryl Blair each added a goal.
The fans were treated to a wonderfully competitive game!! Thanks to both teams!!! Great work Rebels!!!!!!
