REBELS are coming HOME for GAME 4
After Tuesday night's long battle in Ayton ended in a draw, the 'Air-Tech Mechanical' BANTAM REP REBELS are returning home for Game 4 with 5 points, to West Grey's 1 point, in the WOAA Championship Final Series.

The REBELS got off to an amazing start, controlling the 1st period with 4 x more shots on net than their hosts.
Jordan Beirnes fired a rocket from the point right on target, that was deflected into the net off a West Grey defender at 10:49.  Carson Torrie was awarded the assist.
Less than a minute later, the Warrior's goalie stopped Mitch Faust's shot and made the decision to throw the puck away instead of freezing it.  Cory Rasmussen sent it right back at him and into the far side of the net at 9:56, with the assist going to Calvin Stewart.
The boys kept the pressure on and the puck in the Warriors end.  Torrie got control of the puck in the neutral zone, and passed to Clay Kreuger who carried the puck over the blue line.  He centred it to Jake Moran for a low, hard shot under the goalie's pad ... which to the fans surprise ended up in the net at 4:40.

The 2nd period was back and forth with the Warriors gaining ground with a goal at 3:22, that couldn't get cleared away from the net in time.

After the break, West Grey came out throwing their weight around and with a couple of scrambles at our net at 10:54 and 8:32 ... it was all tied up.

They blew through 10 'penalty free' minutes of O.T. in the same fashion and when the buzzer went off, nothing had changed.
Final Score: REBELS 3 - WARRIORS 3

Township of Georgian Bluffs
Just a few hours from major Ontario cities, Georgian Bluffs is a collection of communities stretching north from Chatsworth to just south of Wiarton. Copper Kettle, Cobble Beach, Slough of Despond, Big Bay, Oxenden, Balmy Beach… these are just some of the names that paint a picture of the Georgian Bluffs canvas along the Georgian Bay Coastal Route. We have the natural beauty of waterfalls, the Niagara Escarpment and the blue waters of Georgian Bay just to mention a few of our natural amenities. We are a township for all seasons!
Township of Chatsworth
Essentially a rural community, the Township of Chatsworth takes its flavour from the farmlands and forests surrounding it. We welcome visitors to stop and visit as you drive through central Grey County. Amalgamated January 1, 2000, the Township of Chatsworth is made up of the former Townships of Holland and Sullivan and the Village of Chatsworth. The Township population is approximately 8,000 in an area of 260 square miles. Agriculture is the most predominant industry in the Township. There are also a significant number of sawmills in the township, many operated by the Amish community. Tourism and recreation are a growing industry. The Niagara Escarpment, 6 county forests, numerous conservation areas, inland lakes and major rivers provide plenty of year round activities including hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing.
