Ice Dogs Double Atom LL#2
With standing room only in Keady the home squad Barry's Construction Atom LL#2 fall 4-2 to the visiting Arran Elderslie Red.

The Rebels found themselves trailing 1-0 just 2 minutes into the game. Then Rebels defenceman Karissa Rasmussen moved into the slot and fired the puck hard along the ice and under the Ice Dogs netminder. The next shift saw Jackson Greig muscle his way through and bury his own rebound to quickly put the Rebels up 2-1. The pace slowed a little and the Ice Dogs took advantage, scoring 2 goals of their own. Rebels goalie Wyatt Garren stopped numerous breakaways to keep his team in contention. And great penalty killing on both sides didn't allow any advantage with the extra player. Despite all their hard work the puck just did not bounce our way today. The Ice Dogs would add another goal late in the game making the final 4-2. Great effort Rebels, keep working hard!
