Rebels Hard Work Pays Off with Two Wins
On Saturday the Extreme Heating Pee Wee Local League Rebels outlasted the Mount Forest Rams for a 4-2 win in Keady. Mount Forest opened the scoring in the first period at the 9 minute mark. William Hoare would tie the game up when he took a pass from Liam Wright. Hoare would then put the Rebels ahead just 13 seconds later.

The Rebels would then score the only goal of the second period as Dalan Frook found the net with assists from Avery Ash and Liam Wright. Mount Forest would continue to press the Rebels late in the second and early on in the third but with the stellar goaltending of  Owen Mackison it was a difficult task. Finally at the 5 minute mark the Rams would score to draw to within one goal. The Rebels would continue to play tough defence and then in the last minute Adam Gorman would control the puck in his own end and rush up the side of the ice and beat the Rams defence man to put in an insurance goal into the empty net.

On Monday night the Rebels would face off against the Hanover Falcons #1 team in Keady. Once again the Rebels hard work would pay off for a 5-1 win over the visiting Falcons. After a scoreless first period, Charlie Scott would open the scoring for the Rebels with assists from Landen Heathers and William Hoare. Scott would score his second of the game again with an assist going to Hoare. Landen Heathers would go end to end on a great rush to make it 3-0 to end the Second.

After the break Dalan Frook would score for the Rebels with the assist going to Adam Gorman. William Hoare would add another for the Rebels with assists from Charlie Scott and Landon Heathers, making it 5-0. The Falcons would finally beat Owen "the Wall" Mackison with only 2 minutes left in the game.

Great games boys filled with excellent effort, precision passing and terrific teamwork.
