2 AWAY GAMES ... 2 WINS for the REBELS
The COUNTRY CHARM MENNONITE FURNITURE Bantam 'C' Girls hit the road this week travelling to Ayton and Meaford and were able to squeeze out two more wins.

Wednesday night in Ayton the girls defeated West Grey 3 - 1.
The REBELS got on the board first as Sammy DeJong brought the puck up this ice and fed a pass to Kirsten Sutter who scored at 3:58 in the 1st period.
Jessica Moran snapped one in just seconds into the 2nd period on a pass form Grace Kivell and Sutter, and Erica McComb came out of a scramble in front of the net with a goal at 0:03, assisted by Kivell and Ashyn Mackison.
Tatem Edwards had a great game in the net, making many impressive saves.

To celebrate the start of their CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS, the girls edged Georgian Shores 2 -1 on Friday night.
After a scoreless 1st period, Erica McComb got through traffic at centre ice, took control of the puck and with some fancy footwork ... went down and fired a beauty into the net (too bad the video camera didn't move as fast as Erica, it would have been nice to see that shot again, oops!), assist going to Lillian Harshman.
The Lightning found the back of our net midway through the 3rd period to tie it up, but 20 seconds later ... Grace Kivell picked up a pass at the blue line and went in and scored, assisted by Kirsten Sutter and Renee Farrow.
Hannah Mustard denied any other shots that came her way and the girls held their lead for the final 8 minutes.

Finished their 3 game road trip, the Bantam Girls return to Chatty Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm to take on the Saugeen Shores Storm for round 2.

Township of Georgian Bluffs
Just a few hours from major Ontario cities, Georgian Bluffs is a collection of communities stretching north from Chatsworth to just south of Wiarton. Copper Kettle, Cobble Beach, Slough of Despond, Big Bay, Oxenden, Balmy Beach… these are just some of the names that paint a picture of the Georgian Bluffs canvas along the Georgian Bay Coastal Route. We have the natural beauty of waterfalls, the Niagara Escarpment and the blue waters of Georgian Bay just to mention a few of our natural amenities. We are a township for all seasons!
Township of Chatsworth
Essentially a rural community, the Township of Chatsworth takes its flavour from the farmlands and forests surrounding it. We welcome visitors to stop and visit as you drive through central Grey County. Amalgamated January 1, 2000, the Township of Chatsworth is made up of the former Townships of Holland and Sullivan and the Village of Chatsworth. The Township population is approximately 8,000 in an area of 260 square miles. Agriculture is the most predominant industry in the Township. There are also a significant number of sawmills in the township, many operated by the Amish community. Tourism and recreation are a growing industry. The Niagara Escarpment, 6 county forests, numerous conservation areas, inland lakes and major rivers provide plenty of year round activities including hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing.
